Gamma Digital Kft. is a 100% Hungarian owned company founded in 1995. Our main activity is industrial automation and system integration. We have been dynamically developing over the last ten years, and we employ over 130 people, most of them are development engineers.

 

Our growing revenue comes primarily from the automotive, pharmaceutical and intralogistics industries. While our activity has a long history in the big domestic pharmaceutical companies, the automotive group of our company has undergone rapid development in recent years. We highlight our active and diverse operations at Mercedes-Benz’s Kecskemét, as well as our ongoing projects at several tire factories (Bridgestone, Hankook Tire, Apollo Tires). In the last few years, our third main activity has become the intralogistics automation: we have realized the complete design and implementation of automated storage and retrieval system for pallets/totes and automatic forklift systems.

 

 

Our headquarter is located at the former Gamma Művek which was founded in 1920 and it was defined as a Hungarian manufacturer of electronic instruments, precision engineering and optical instruments in the 20th century. Gamma Művek employed more than 3,000 people at its golden age. This building gives place for the company management, administration and engineering offices, as well as hardware and software design teams, electrical fitting shop and a calibration laboratory.

When Gamma Digital Kft. was founded in 1995, most of the eployees were former Gamma professionals.  Their profound and versatile knowledge determined the company’s activity profile and laid the foundation for the company’s success. Dr. László Szilassy, Managing Director of Gamma Digital Kft., also remembers his first life-enriching experience as a trainee, during this period he enjoyed the patronage of some of the best experts in the former Gamma factory.
